TALL 19TH CENTURY ELM SECRETAIRE CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1870.
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS STUNNING CHEST SWEDISH CHEST OF DRAWERS OF GENEROUS PROPORTIONS.
MADE FROM A RICH GOLDEN ELM AND FEATURING 6 DRAWERS OF EQUAL PROPORTIONS, WITH THE ADDED FEATURE OF A SECRETAIRE IN THE 3RD DRAWER DOWN. EACH DRAWER FITTED WITH WOODEN HANDLES AND WORKING LOCKS AND KEY.
SECRETAIRE DRAWER PULLS OUT AND THE DRAWER FRONT DROPS DOWN TO PROVIDE A WRITING SURFACE AND ACCESS TO THE FITTED INTERIOR OF 7 DRAWERS AND CENTRAL STORAGE AREA. ALL RAISED ON 4 BLOCK FEET.
FULLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE. SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK, MINOR RESTORATIONS TO WOODWORK. BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF FURNITURE WHICH HAS PLENTY OF STORAGE POTENTIAL.
