19TH CENTURY PAINTED CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1870.
SUBSTANTIAL BAROQUE REVIVAL SWEDISH CHEST OF DRAWERS. PRESENTED IN LATER PAINT WHICH IS BEST DESCRIBED AS A VERY LIGHT GREY OR A DIRTY WHITE.
PLAIN TOP WITH MOULDED EDGE, BELOW WHICH ARE 3 DRAWERS OF EQUAL PROPORTION THAT OPEN ON THE KEY. HANDLES COULD BE RETRO FITTED IF REQUIRED.
WORKING LOCKS AND KEY. STANDING ON 2 FRONT CARVED FEET AND BLOCK FEET TO THE REVERSE. OAK LINED DRAWERS, MAKING THIS A CHEST OF SOME WEIGHT.
MINOR LOSSES AND FADING TO PAINTWORK. 1 INDENTATION TO TOP EDGE AND OLD LOSSES TO 1 FRONT FOOT, THESE ARE SHOWN IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS.
