EARLY 19TH CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN EMPIRE FLAME MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT BOOKCASE CIRCA 1820.
STUNNING BOOKCASE OF GRAND PROPORTIONS VENEERED IN GOLDEN FLAME MAHOGANY. BOOKCASE COMPRISES OF 7 SECTIONS WHICH SCREW TOGETHER TO. 3 SECTIONS TO THE BASE, 3 GLAZED SECTIONS AND A CORNICE.
CENTRAL DOUBLE DOOR GLAZED CABINET CONTAINING 4 FULLY ADJUSTABLE SHELVES, FLANKED EITHER SIDE BY A SINGLE DOOR CABINET EACH CONTAINING 5 FURTHER SHELVES. CENTRAL DOOR DECORATED WITH A CARVED SHELL, SURMOUNTED BY AN ARCHITECTURAL CORNICE.
DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD TO THE LOWER SECTION CONTAINING 2 SHELVES, WITH 2 SHELVES TO THE LEFT SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD AND A BANK OF 3 FITTED DRAWERS TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. FURTHER DECORATED WITH CARVED SHELLS.
STANDING ON BRACKET FEET.
JUST FULLY RESTORED AND HAND RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP. EXPECTED MINOR SURFACE MARKS AND RESTORATIONS TO VENEER.
