MID CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN PAINTED BIRCH CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1960.
FINE EXAMPLE OF SWEDISH MODERN FURNITURE.
BIRCH TOP WITH FURTHER BIRCH ELEMENTS SUCH AS THE HANDLES AND FEET, WITH A PAINTED PINE MAIN BODY. 3 GRADUATING DRAWERS FITTED WITH TURNED HANDLES AND METAL KEY HOLE, STANDING ON 4 CABRIOLE LEGS.
ORIGINAL PAINT WHICH WAS MARKED AND STAINED HAS BEEN REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A WINTER GREY CHALK BASED PAINT, WHICH PROVIDES AND EXCELLENT CONTRAST TO THE GOLDEN BIRCH ELEMENTS. IDEAL FOR USE IN THE BEDROOM OR HALLWAY.
