MID 20TH CENTURY SWEDISH BIRCH CHIPPENDALE REVIVAL BOWFRONT SIDEBOARD CIRCA 1940.
STUNNING CHIPPENDALE REVIVAL SIDEBOARD WHICH IS A REAL STRIKING FEATURE PIECE. BURR BIRCH TOP WITH CARVED DETAIL AROUND THE TOP EDGE. SIDEBOARD COMPRISES OF A CENTRAL CUPBOARD FLANKED EITHER SIDE BY A SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD ON THE CURVE. EACH DOOR FITTED WITH MOLDED SWAGS. CENTRAL COMPARTMENT FITTED WITH 2 SHELVES, A FURTHER 2 SHELVES TO THE LEFT, ALSO TO SHELVES TO THE RIGHT, COMPLETE WITH 4 PULL OUT SLIDES WHICH LOOK TO HAVE BEEN DECORATED INTO A SNOOKER THEME.
GOOD RICH COLOUR, STANDING ON 4 CARVED LION PAW FEET.
