MID 19TH CENTURY FLAME MAHOGANY CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1850.
GOOD QUALITY SWEDISH 4 DRAWER CHEST OF DRAWERS OF GENEROUS PROPORTIONS. VENEERED ON ALL SURFACES IN FLAME MAHOGANY.
MATCHED VENEER TOP SURFACE, BELOW WHICH ARE 4 GRADUATING PINE LINED DRAWERS WHICH OPEN ON THE KEY. OPENING ON THE KEY WITH NO HANDLES WAS VERY MUCH A SWEDISH FEATURE.
WORKING LOCKS AND KEY.
STANDING ON ROUNDED BLOCK FEET TO THE FRONT AND STANDARD BLOCKS TO THE BACK.
EXPECTED MINOR VENEER REPAIRS AND SURFACE MARKS FROM AGE AND USE. RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
