EARLY 19TH CENTURY CAST IRON SAFE IN ORIGINAL PAINT CIRCA 1800.
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS LOCAL FIND. OFTEN WE HAVE SAFE’S THAT HAVE BEEN RE-CONDITIONED, BUT THIS SAFE COMES IN IT’S ORIGINAL COLOUR AND PATINA, IT MAY EVEN BE EARLIER THAN THE 1800 DATE WE HAVE PUT ON IT.
WARM BLACK PAINTED EXTERIOR, WHICH OPENS UP TO A RED INTERIOR OF 4 PIGEON HOLES AND 2 DRAWERS WITH BRASS SWAN NECK HANDLES.
WHILE EMPTY THIS SAFE IS A STRONG 2 MAN LIFT. ORIGINAL LOCK, WITH KEY, NO KEYS FOR THE INTERIOR DRAWERS.
THERE IS OBVIOUS SURFACE MARKS, STAINING AND PAINT LOSS, BUT OFFERED IN IT’S LOVELY ORIGINAL CONDITION.
