PAIR OF DAVID ROSEN 1950S MAHOGANY CABINETS FOR NORDISKA KOMPANIET CIRCA 1955.
DESIGNED BY SWEDISH DESIGNER DAVID ROSEN (1910-1993), ROSEN WAS A WELL RESPECTED DESIGNER AND WAS AT HIS PEAK DURING THE 1950’s MODERN MOVEMENTS.
THIS PAIR OF CUPBOARDS ARE MADE IN TEAK WITH A CROSS BANDED TOP. LEFT AND RIGHT OPENING DOORS, FITTED WITH BRASS AND HANDLE AND WORKING KEY AND LOCKS. EACH CUPBOARD IS FITTED WITH 2 DRAWER SLIDES.
EACH PIECE IS LABELLED ON THE REVERSE NK NORDISKA KOMPANIET, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN AND STAMPED WITH THE EXACT DATE OF PRODUCTION, 18/10/55.
MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO SURFACES FROM USE, RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP.
