PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS SCONCES CIRCA 1890.
GOOD QUALITY PAIR OF DECORATIVE PLAQUES THAT DEPICT 2 PROMINENT FIGURES IN THE FRENCH RENAISSANCE PERIOD. DIANE DE POITIERS AND FRANCOIS THE FIRST KING OF FRANCE (1515-1547)
EACH FITTED WITH AN ORNATE 3 ARM CANDLE FITTING.
SOME DIS-COLOURATION AND FADING, BUT WOULD POLISH UP FURTHER IF DESIRED. DIANE’S PLAQUE WITH AN AREA THAT HAD A LABEL ATTACHED FOR A LONG TIME AND HAS REMOVED THE PATINA BACK DOWN TO THE ORIGINAL. 1 CANDLE COLLAR FROM EACH PLAQUE IS MISSING.
EACH WITH A LOOP FOR WALL HANGING.
