EARLY 20TH CENTURY WALNUT TAMBOUR CABINET CIRCA 1910.
GOOD QUALITY TAMBOUR FRONTED DRAWER CABINET. THESE CABINETS ARE USUALLY MADE IN OAK AND MAHOGANY BUT THIS ONE IS MADE IN WALNUT.
TYPICAL PIECE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND IN AN EDWARDIAN OFFICE TO KEEP THE PAPERWORK TIDY, NOW LENDING ITSELF TO FURTHER USES AROUND THE HOME OR IN RETAIL.
PLAIN TOP SURFACE WITH DECORATIVE CATCH AND KEY, WHICH ALLOWS THE TAMBOUR TO DROP DOWN AND REVEAL 9 SOLID OAK DRAWER SLIDES OF EQUAL PROPORTIONS.
FINISHING WITH A PEDESTAL BASE AND FLAT BUN FEET.
RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE. 2 PREVIOUS DOWEL HOLES TO TOP SURFACE WHICH HAVE BEEN RESTORED.
