MID 20TH CENTURY LOW OPEN ELM BOOKCASE CIRCA 1950.
ELEGANT PIECE OF SWEDISH FURNITURE MAKING. COVERED IN A STRIKING ELM VENEER. ROUNDED FLOWING TOP, WITH A SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD TO THE RIGHTHAND SIDE, THIS DOOR IS DECORATED WITH MATCHED VENEERS AND STRINGING DETAIL. 2 PARTIALLY CONCEALED DRAWERS WITH BOOK OR COLLECTABLE STORAGE ON THE SINGLE ADJUSTABLE SHELF BELOW.
RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP. 1 VERY SMALL INDENTATION TO TOP SURFACE DUE TO A KNOT HOLE.
